Contest $80 - 72 hours - logo/mascot design

Hello there DP designers, today I am opening up a competition to you to design our new mascot/logo.

Company Name: Tyrannosaurus Mex (T-Mex for short)
Company Purpose: Web Agency

The logo should be a cartoon tyrannosaurus rex dinosaur wearing a sombrero. We are looking for a clean and simple logo that would work well in print. Nothing too complex or overly detailed. Flat colours are welcomed. The text should read: T-Mex (but should be changeable by us when you send the files).

Optional extras for our mascot: maracas, moustache

The winner will receive $80 by PayPal - if we aren't satisfied with any of the submissions, we will offer $40 to our favourite (which we won't use, but you won't be able to re-sell).

Contest lasts 72 hours. As of writing it is currently 12:13pm November 24th, so I will end the contest on November 27th at around midday GMT.

That applies to yours as well biscuitdzn, but I like the playfulness of yours.

Just a reminder the maracas and moustache are optional, as the designer you should decide what looks best! I would probably just go for a clean dinosaur with a sombero myself, so maybe include 2 versions if you choose to add these, one with and one without.

@andiholist this is the favourite so far but I don't think this is a tyrannosaurus rex? I'm no dinosaur expert but looks more like a bronotosaurus. But in terms of the type of dinosaur and graphic we're after it's the best so far, we would welcome another submission from you more resembling a t-rex.

@a4hire thanks for the submission, feels a bit too cliparty and too detailed, I don't envision the ideal logo having an outline, good work though even if its not the style we're after.

@biscuitdzn can we try without the outline on the dinosaur? Might look better

@andiholist it definitely looks like a t-rex now, but conceptually your previous submission looked better I think. Maybe less detailed hands/arms and mouth? Can the colors/gradient look more like the original submission as well? Also can we try a red/brown/orange/yellow (that sort of color) hat?
