300K is the price of a Tim Hortons franchise here in Canada. You can actually get a Tim Hortons branch up and running for 300K USD here. So I think the price is too much for a website.

Another things there is always at least a 1% probability that your Adsense account will get banned generally speaking. Since 80% of the revenue comes from Adsense. This is a big risk to take. I've been with Google for over 5 month and 2 days ago my account got banned for association with previously disabled accounts. I was shocked and I emailed Google we'll see how that goes. Anyhow I hope you see my point

Will you accept offers around $50,000??

Nabi: Did you fall on your head or something?
If you'd have taken the time to decently read through these pages you'll see THERE'S NO COMPARISON TO A B&M BUSINESS!

Plus: Given all the things you need, for a tim's you're most likely looking at $500k+. Business / dev costs (420-450k). Liquid assets (50k).
    All employees, etc.
    There's no comparison.

There must be at least two owner operators who:
Both have equity in the business and will commit their full and entire efforts to the business
Both have no other business venture
Both are ready to sever relationships with their current employer prior to beginning our 6-8 week training session
Both live in the U.S. within 30 miles of their Tim Hortons Shop

There are very few reasons why these would be requirements, and none of them speak well of the business model.

They normally do wait for a few months before rebanning. That way they can earn something off you before terminating the account and withholding the funds. What happened in your case is just normal, sorry to say.

I think I have a method of securing my dream price with regards to this network. I'm currently in talks with a competent broker who has requested for there not to be any competition. Therefore, I'll be holding back on updating this thread, and will also not post at Sitepoint for the time being.

Official current high offer is $110,000 at SP.. with an initial $150k BIN offer which was declined earlier here at DP. I've already begun some earning and traffic optimizing.. if this auction ever picks up, by the time some sale is finalised, income should be in the $7-8k/month range.. of course, if it gets too high, I might well pull the auction and decide not to sell.. So, if you're interested, please act fast.

Bid at Sitepoint has increased to $110,500 now.

Three important subdomains are currently being optimized for increased traffic and earnings. Yesterday which was a weekday brought in $230.. so it looks like we are headed towards the first $7k month. (Weekends are generally 20% higher than weekdays). Keep in mind, that the majority of what I have planned still hasn't been executed.

The 8th which was a weekday again just closed with another $225 in income. It looks like we can comfortably assume $85,000 per annum income now, instead of the originally stated $75,000. This will become more clear as the weekend passes. I'll continue to update with new figures.

In addition, on the main NGEmu front site, ad placement of the TF leaderboard/468 x 60 banner has been changed to maximise ctr on the Adsene unit. The main AS unit is in a better position now then it was earlier.

Note to bidders, please don't forget the ZERO maintenance factor, it is seriously the most attractive feature.. in order to maintain these insanely high traffic levels, this site does NOT depend on a full time employee. If you buy this network, you are NOT buying a job! That is what sets it apart from the few other sites out there worth considering.

Significant increase in the bid. We're at $150,000 now. This new bidder at Sitepoint has a June, 2006 join date, and again seems genuine.

    Still taking offers.

Quick income update for the first 11 days of the month.

All channels combined have earned $2,358.75 from the first of August through the 11th. At this rate, income will definitely surpass that of the past two months by several hundred dollars. Given the slight upward trend, the remaining 20 days of the month might even take it beyond $7,000.

Just out of curiosity, what would be the safest way of paying for a $300,000+ site? Are you going to have a lawyer involved?

Massive improvements are underway, and income looks like it will be crossing the $300/day mark. I don't want to get burned by someone BINing the network for $330,000 and ruining the fun. Therefore the BIN is being increased slightly. If anyone has finally recognised the value here and thinks my new BIN is out of their range and wants to discuss at a lowered BIN or something of that nature, please contact privately.

Wow, I used to go to that site regularly! Great site, I don't know if you'll find a buyer on this forum, but I recommend you try selling it on Sitepoint. I love the site, and Best of luck with the sale!
