Not too surprised... the younger generation are getting more PC saavy than ever! Back at age 11, we use to build sites (nothing big, just using easy home page builders through geocities). But 8? How young is it going to be in a decade!?
i setup my UK limited company when i was 14 - i think i was one of the youngest company directors in the country!

Not to put a downer on this, but how can we be certain this was all done on her own without any help from parent/s?
It's a decent achievement, but not all that unusual. I doubt very much that she really is the youngest female webmaster, though. Basic WYSYWIG site-building really is child's play. There are probably some 4-year-old prodigies out there who will turn up sooner or later. Come to think of it, what does it take to be a webmaster anyway? Does having a blog, or even a Myspace page covered in glitter graphics, count?
