Ask people to rate yous lens. You know you want the feedback! Better lens rank is an added bonus.

Update frequently. Add a bit more on a regular basis. This is important for Squidoo rank.

Make an introduction description and use an image there also. These are displayed by squidoo when others are looking for somewhere to click.

Don't put module after module of products at the bottom even if you have great content at the top. It takes a while to load.

Like the lenses in a pair of glasses two lenses are better than one. Make related lenses and link your related lenses together.

Submit your new lens to google. You will get spidered sooner and worthy pages will be added to the index more quickly.

Join groups. But only join if you are adding a worthy page to the group. If to many group masters ban you for being spammy you are gone for good from squidoo.

Your lenses can be passed on to others. Lenses are free and easy to transfer to other lens masters. Squidoo does not mind them being bought and sold. Find the link on the right from your overview of lenses page.

    great tips for Squidoo

However one of my lenses seems to have fallen in the lens rankings lately. I suppose it is from lack of updating. But regardless of the lens rank, it still ranks in the top 10 for the keyword I was aiming for, so that's good enough for me. What can I say.

I wouldn't bother with submitting them to Google.

If they're full of original content you'll find them indexed as quickly as two days.

I have two relatively high-ranking lenses (170&480) but I've only seen dribbles of traffic and no Amazon sales at all. Has anyone had a lens be successful as either a traffic funnel or income source? Sometimes I think it's just hype.
