Maybe both, don't mind doing it and make money at the same time. I recently started up a new blog and it's probably them two reasons.
Shooting pleasure, I think that most people are blogging for that, although many people want to make money blogging, but I don't think that everyone does .
I find this hard to believe: "400,000 paid bloggers in the USA, and the salary is not so bad, equal $2,5-3 thousands per month". Are you saying that 400,000 bloggers in the US are each making about $30,000/year by blogging? Hmmmm.... I would guess that 90% of people start blogging to make money, which is why 85% of blogs are abandoned after one year...
Yeah, blog is a good choice for some guys who want to do business online. It has many advantages. However,we should also pay attention to the weakness of it.For example, many blog procedures can be downloaded free from the Internet, and easy to manage for green hand. But the styles are monotonous and duplicated although you have some choices to change the themes. It's so difficult for newcomers to change the codes of the blog to make their blog different with others. What's more, the hosting which blog is hosted may have many limitations such as the disk space or bandwidth or other things.Sometimes they may bring trouble to us.Therefore,we should also realise the disadvantages of blog when we love and enjoy it.
Its not all about the money. I love writing and would still write if I had 10 or 10000 subscribers. Maybe my posts can help people improve themselves, that is my biggest goal. Of course, I do want to grow my blog to thousands of subscribers and make a good income from it sometime in the future, but for now Im enjoying writing and making it grow. I have a blog about personal development, only been working at it hard for the last 2 months. In my last month I gained 100 subscribers, so it's definitely possible, but is a lot of work. The aim is 1500 subscribed readers by September next year. Upgradereality.com Any recommendations of gaining awareness for my blog and getting more readers? Thanks Diggy!
For me it's 1,3,4,6 and 8! When you've generated great contents to your readers, it's also easy to see that a blogger has been enjoying what he writes and the products that he/she promotes especially when it has benefited him as well. Now, as you share these valuable information, you also tend to help those people who "need" to know these things and be able to experience them - and that way, working on that strategy makes your whole marketing efforts to generating an income. Blogging is a package and without investing time, interest, knowledge and passion in it, you're just plain writing without yielding big.
if money is your only motivation, you'll will never earn any. if you blog you need to blog with a passion for what you're writing about, and build a following that will achieve a passive income over time.
I can see lot of good blogs with many number of posts without any advertisements. So I think some people enjoying blogging without expecting money from it.
