Hi, i m asking whether 1 PR8 link is better than 8 PR6 link. I really love to see what the expert in this forum say. Thank you guys.
Here is my opinion even though I am not a pro or anything... I would say that even though a PR8 link might help you more PRwise, I would definitely go with 8 PR6 links. The reason I am saying this, is that if you have more links to your site, it raises your credibility and furthermore, I would assume that 8 PR6 sites get more traffic than 1 PR8. Obviously, the right answer will always depend on the actual sites... Off the top of my head I can think of a few PR8s whose links would be way better than a bunch of PR6 links Hope this helps!
It depends on what you want. Obviously a need of a fast PR boost would be the fat juicy PR8 backlink choice.
I think i should get PR8 first then if i get more traffic from google, would then consider to get the lower PR site to strengthen the PR. All your comments are valuable to me and the visitors of DP.
I will prefer 8 link from PR6 is best, because PR6 is not bad pr. Google will definitely like 8 back link from pr6 (high pr) so if you are getting 8 links from pr6 its better than to 1 link from pr8
PR8, if you are going to buy a PR8 link make sure to verify the PR isn't just mapped to another site, because that is quite rare.
I think mapped link is the technic used in fake PR. One will redirect his domain to an PR8 website, and confuse the google. So google thought that domain has PR8. Btw, If the PR8 site has inner pages of PR7 and PR6, i put my link at the footer, so, i m on PR7 and PR6 inner pages as well. So, in this case, would it be better than 8 PR6 from other domains?
I think that 1 pr8 link would give you nice boost to the pr of your site, but 8 pr6 links will give you both more traffic and maybe even more pr to your site.
so, the answer is still 50/50.. the best is to have all of them linked to your site.. for maximum benefit.
For me, no problem .... A real PR8 is better than 8 PR6. But it is necessary to look at other elements such as relevant theme, external links, dofollow ...
One quality PR8 link would probably give you a lot more of a boost than several PR6 links, only because PR8 is valued a lot more than anything below it, and is obviously a lot harder to attain than a PR6. Basically, if it's almost impossible to achieve it on your own, you should buy it. In this case, PR5 & PR6 is very possible over time and commitment - the boost doesn't represent a lot of difference either, especially compared to sites of lower PageRanks. Anything above PR6 is actually worth buying, because it's a lot rarer if you haven't noticed, and will definitely boost your rankings in search engines (I'd estimate) at least three (3) pages in the first month or so with a link back containing the competitive keyword that you're trying to rank for. I've had a few PR6 sites in a few different niches and they're relatively easy to attain. Sometimes they do mean something, sometimes they don't - in this case, my first PR6 was an Xbox site that achieved about one thousand unique visitors per day. On the other hand, my second PR6 was a webmaster forum, that only achieved 200-500 (max) per day. PR6 doesn't represent traffic but from my analysis of the particular PageRank only high rankings for some specific keywords (not necessarily high traffic keywords either). This means that you can buy 8 PR6 links that really won't give you a boost in traffic; sure 8 PR6 links may get you a boost over time with some keywords (if Google doesn't claim your link as paid/sponsored), but one PR8 link will get you the same boost if not bigger in a single instance, only because of the rarity, and the PageRank is a pretty-much guarantee you'll get traffic back as well. If they're the same price, go for the PR8. If it's not achievable, go for it. Justice McCay of Linkative.com
PR 8 link will be better than PR 6. Actually, 1 PR 8 is roughly equivalent to 25+ PR 6s, at least that's what I thought when I was playing with page rank calculator. PR 6s are fairly easy to find. Finding a PR 8 without tons of spam? Havn't had any luck yet.
