According to Alexa (I'm not sure how accurate this is), forums.digitalpoint.com has 92% of the traffic while the remaining 8% visits use digitalpoint.com.

Judging by the popularity of dp, the remaining 8% is probably well over thousands :D. I'm trying to track down what the 8% does on digitalpoint.com? Perhaps use the tools? or ..

They probably read the digitalpoint.com homepage and think "oh dear, I wanted to go to the forums instead."

10k unique visitors per month? Where are you getting this figure from?

Yeah, I suspect that's one day's traffic. It's too low to be a month, for a site like DP.

Firstly, DP is on the subdomain, meaning its likely to be owned by the same person (unless the main site hosts other sites on subdomains).

Secondly, Shawn owns DP (forum), Shawn also owns Digital Point Solutions

Thirdly, there is a link to the forum: "Thursday, March 4: A new search engine forum is now available online"

    Is that enough?

Not sure about UV, but according to this DP got about 7,000 new users in july. Also, at this moment, there's about 3:1 guests to members on the site.

And going back to that graph which shows up to 170k active members per month, then using the 3:1 ratio, i think that makes 680k visits a month (not sure about UV though). Though that says 22k a day... which couldn't be right

That's using my poor knowledge of maths so please correct if i've gone wrong

The main digitalpoint site needs a new design, it's old fashion and overall just ugly
