Hi everyone, I've got a website that doesn't get much traffic at all since I haven't had much time to keep up with it yet. But I happened to login to adsense and check up on it yesterday. I noticed it received 8 clicks with a total revenue of $0.05.....how does this happen? It's not a big deal, but I thought there was at least a $0.01/click minimum. Maybe I'm wrong? Any insight about this would be very enlightening and interesting. Thanks, boxer126 P.S. It's definitely NOT a high paying keyword related site.
If you don't have a lot of traffic, it could be that Adsense invalidated all the other clicks after counting the first 1 or 2 clicks. It happens, especially if the same visitor clicks on an ad too often for low-traffic sites.
Ahhhhhh, OK. That makes sense. I just thought it was kind of weird. Thanks for the feedback. -boxer126
Boxer it is quite possible; suppose your site receivin cpm ads then google will not pay for clicks.. I often get 0.01 for 4-5 clicks. and yes i can also happen if they r invalid clicks
