Hello folks, Just a few days ago, I visited 7search.com just to look around and see what they had to offer. Window shopping, so to speak. Through the course of the day, I noticed my pc stalling and crashing with alarming regularity. Time to fire up the anti-spyware scanner. After the scan, I noticed a cookie from 7search. Went to read the anti-spyware program's description of the cookie and what it said was quite revealing. Can't remember word for word but to paraphrase, it basically said 7search gathers data to add to their database. That wasn't very nice. So after removing the 7search cookie, no more crashes. Just sharing this with anyone who may be interested.
Well, put it this way, I didn't find anything special with what they had to offer so there's no incentive for me to go back. And after discovering the lethal cookie, I'd be a fool to even consider opening their site again.
