I thinks you should earn more then this and if you wants to earn more just paced your adds in right area of sites. and it's depends on your blog theme as well and related adds earn you more and it's can improved your CTR.
Every body points out the ctr. You can not point this out if there are many page view by one person. Like my site the ctr is real low I mean low but with fifty click I would make about 15- 20 dollars on that. The reason i say my ctr is low it's a joke site they don't just read one joke or two and leave I get people at times read over 50 pages at a time. It's the niche that count's I did not notice what kind of niche he had said.
Low paying niche and a low CTR. I wish I got 7500 hits/day. It sounds like your visitors are suffering from ad blindness. I'd try putting the ads in a more prominent place on the page. Like after the first paragraph of text. And choose a background that matches your site so they blend in and don't look like ads.
