it's totally useless, First of all, even SATA 2 Hard drives can't transfert and get data at more than 3GB/sec at most "in theory" (good luck achieving that), so even if she has a 40 GB/sec connexion, she won't be able to get more than 3GB/sec (assuming that she got one those latest and fastest generation of hard drives)

Second, and most importantly 99% of servers are not capable of sending more than a Real 3 Mbs her way. that's mean she won't be able to use her connexion even to 0.1% of it's potential in 99.99% of cases.

third, this is probably just a link bait

 

Wonder when will we even get 1gb thats more than enough for me lol

 

i don't think that we need so a high speed .. 1 Gb will be fast enough for my internet activities

40 Gb/sec looks like a dream

 

I never got true 2mb/sec here in india, and she has 7xgb/sec !!!

 

Today in some countries there is 50 MB connection, but in most places it cost either alot or they still dont have it... so keep dreaming that we will have 40 GB in the up coming few years....

 

there is so many thing will can do at the same thing with that super high speed connection
