Very nice entry GFXartist, ok please no more entries I'm trying to chose a winner, which is nearly impossible since all the designs are so good. Normally when I have a contest most of them won't be very good, and it's fairly easy but right now it's proving to be extremely difficult. I've kinda narrowed it down to 4, but I'm still not quite sure.
Wow, I just spent about an hour writing up what I liked about everyones entry and then it disappeared for some reason, but here's (in brief) things I like about each design. Ok, first off I'd like to say thanks to everyone, most contests I have there arn't many good entries and it's fairly easy to pick a winner. But this one proved otherwise. First, I'd like to say what I liked about each and every entry. arunefx: Your design is sweet, I love the background with the sun shinning through and all! The logo looks awesome and it just looks great. Rovil: I love the shadowing you've done and the general layout of it. I also love how you put in the guest, free users, premium at the bottom, looks great. natali77: I also love your background, it really makes the design interesting. Also great thinking on adding the advertisement up top. I also find the bubble buttons on the nav bar kinda nice sparkle92: I really find your design interesting, your background with the strips aswell as a gradient is great! the logos nice aswell, and I also like how you put the lines in the center of the buttons between colors, it gives it an excellent effect. Podmatrix: All I can say is wow. I love the borders you've done, the shadows, everything is done to perfection. It flows great, and looks highly professional. bs_webdeciphers: The logo you made looks awesome! Very well done on it. I also like the shading you did and the navigation bar aswell, well done. GFXArtist: I absolutely love the logo. I also love the different gradients you used and the layout. Excellent job! robi09: I like the fish you've made in the logo, it looks great! I also love the white waves of white that flow in the background. It gives it a great look. There where also quite a few people who pmed me their designs. (from the pm guys) vinpkl: I love the white you used to seround buttons and other things, it makes it look great! I love that. I also really like the layout you've done, the guest, register etc also fits in great. kushsolitary: The colors you've used look great! I also love the effect of some of the content areas looking like their bellow the other stuff based on the shadowing you've used etc. I also love the navigation bar you've done. Fabulous job. damoolag: This is great! Lots of the people i asked liked yours because of its originality. I love the divx fish idea, and the guy fishing for divx fish. Excellent job. leetsoc: Extremely professional! The navigation bar looks sweet, the guest, registered premium etc looks awesome, the waves you've done. It's all very well done. If I've forgotten anyone, I apologize and please let me know, with all the postings here, via pm and other pm's i've received it gets a bit confusing. Main Stuff Now I mainly want to say this. You all entered this contest knowing you wouldn't all win, there can only be 1 winner. (Well in this case I'm giving away a second place prize aswell. I just wanted you all to remember it's experience that gets you good at graphics design, I'm sure the winner has tones of experience. Even if you didn't win, I hope you've gained something from this contest, and surely you've gained a bit more experience which could help you win more contests in the future and make you a better graphics designer. Now comes the hard part, after a very difficult decision, I've decided that leetsooc has won first place (75$) and arunefx has won second place (25$) Please message me your paypal id's and I'll send the payements asap. I'm really sorry if you didn't win, better luck next time and in future contests. If I had a lot of money I'd pay everyone who entered for doing a fantastic job. Thanks guys.
Yeah, but it's because he's a wonderful designer. If you all keep up and enter contests like this, you'll be as good if not better than him in no time. He'll be posting his final design here possible in a bit. and thank you damoolag, you entered a fabulous design You're very creative
