I've had a paintball site sitting around doing nothing for almost a year now so I figured a contest would be a great way to spruce it up and get rid of that ugly "logo" I slapped together myself. The site is www.cozmopaintball.com The current image is 420x66. You could change the size slightly if necessary. Considering how ugly most paintball sites are it won't be too hard to come up with a better logo than 90% of them. Whichever logo I choose will get $75 paid via paypal. Requirements: I need the source files/fonts used to create the image so I can do whatever I need to it in the future (print or tshirts for example). For this reason a vector image format would probably be best. All it needs to say on it is "Cozmo Paintball" Design Direction: I don't think web 2.0 style is necessarily right for this design. I always thought a silhouette of a woman holding a paintball gun would be cool but not required. That may be difficult to have look right in a logo that short. Perhaps something web 2.0-like with a paint splatter theme would be appropriate, that is up to you. I would like the logo colors to match the existing site. Let's see what you can come up with!
That isn't bad, but the text is too small. I'd prefer the focus be on the letters rather than the gun.
Hi, I worked on the silhouette theme as well as paint splatter!. Anyway, it is a first concept. Let me have any feedback. Thanks
I should've been more specific about the girl part. I think it should be a side view perhaps on the right side with her leaning against the letters and one leg bent up. Think Charlie's Angels I think I like the bigger thick splats that xluciusx used better, they are less distracting from the text.
I really like that actually, but you spelled my name wrong The splat is not really a splat (I recognize that photoshop shape hehe), but I like the rest of it. Deviantart has some really good spaltter brushes you can download but I think maybe a more 'cartoony' splatter is appropriate here. Try changing the paintball O and the word paintball to purple (#CC0099) and the rest of the text to the green (#00CC00). Maybe make the splat the blue color (#330099).
