And as stated earlier, I don't mean to cause trouble whatsoever. But I do believe credit is to be given where it is deserved. I'm not going to stand by and watch as someone steals artwork and uses it to win contests when there are people more deserving of the prize due to their hard work and originality.

I am not good at sketching so i asked one of my designer to make that mascot and if you see i myself said in that thread that it was made and very much changed as compare to real one but then i quit that contest as that was a mistake from me and my designer ..
After this contest that guy bigmike msged me in private and asked me to take contest in his contest .. He was inspired with my skills but i told him that i did'nt made that mascot all the way but it was changed a lot and then he said its 0k with me and you can take part. I made 3,4 mascots for him in the contest and in the end he said this:

He never said in that thread that i cheated a mascot in his contest but he said I can't accept any more of your designs after seeing you steel other peoples work in previous threads .. If you guys are not blind you can see that posts below this one where me and bigmike had a arguement as he was aware of all the thing and that made me really dishearted.. I never felt bad if someone else win the contest and i really congratulate him/her deep from my heart but i don't know why people don't like it.. Being a female i don't argue that much as i know i am not good at arguing but still i said a lot because it was really bad and sad to read last few posts here
Now coming to shark logo i msged shinan about it and i think so that was enough from my side .. To let you people know one of my designer sketched this mascot for a music company and i posted it as a sample on getafreelancer.com but that guy said he wanted a boy/girl so he just rejected this shark .. I told this thing to shinan also as i want to be fair with him and i used that logo for his pixel shark (After little bit changes) ...
In the end i want to show you guys something .. i made a female shark of this same shark and its totally chnged from that one but don't smile on my sketch as its not really good

Ye another conetst down the tubes I think. I'm getting sick to death of these. I might just stick to commissions. They pay better anyhow. The CH probably didn't want a piece of that argument and I don't blame him.

Haha... okay sorry about that Shinan. A couple of us have been in 3 or 4 contests lately that died. That's why it came up. If you like my shark but don't like the logo, you can have him for half the contest price (so you can hold a new one and get a logo from one of these fantastic folks. This really was a fun contest to enter. I have a lot of shark characters now.

Yep. I graduated from animation school but there are zero jobs out there without a fight OR a move to a big city which I'm not interested in. So I do strictly commissioned characters and I make enough I was able to buy myself a home so I'm excited. But these contests help get my characters more attention and it makes me happy to see them used

 

For sure you make some great characters and i myself like it a lot too

Still no word on this one. I'm not sure if it's good... or bad? There must be a serious problem preventing them from picking a winner... and I can't imagine it's just because we're all that cool?
