Thank you everyone for your continued participation in the contest. Ximena is getting a lot of good designs and that's thanks to all of you. Keep up the good work!

Here is the feedback for this next batch:

wincaya - Posts 12/13/14 - She said this one was OK, she likes the idea but not the font or color her name is written in, something lighter/softer in color.

logos4all - Post 15 - She said she really likes this one, but not so much the font. She wouldn't mind seeing it with something perhaps less block type and more cursive?

tosario - Post 16 - She liked the changes you made but she said the colors are too bold and need to be more pastel, but she does like the top one in cursive so continue with that one, just update the colors.

kainraziall - Post 17 - I'm sorry Kain, but she didn't like this one at all.

creativediva - Post 18 - I'm sorry creativediva, she did not like your entry as well. It's very Hawaiian inspired and not really in line with her brand/business. But good attempt.

getdomain4u - Post 19 - I'm sorry getdomain4u, she did not like your entry either. She said the font is too block-y and its pretty plain. You'll have to try again if you want a shot.

Orlando M - Post 20 - She said that she can only see her name and can't really read the 'Events by' part, the font is also too block print. She likes the logos with cursive fonts. So maybe try updated the logo with this feedback.

weirdXtreme - Post 21 - She really likes this one, but she is not a huge fan of the font her name is written in. Also it should be 'Events' not 'Event', please update that. Maybe you can provide a couple new versions with some different cursive fonts.

kainraziall - Post 22 - I'm sorry Kain, she said she did not like this one either. I thought she would like this one but she shot it down. I liked how you incorporated the rose but the client is always right. I'll still show her the version with the watercolor behind it, but chances are she will still want to see something different.

These additional 4 logos by galalogo, sheryonline, kainrasiall and wincaya were just sent to her this morning. I'll be getting feedback from here in the next couple hours.

Ok, that's the end of the submission period. Thank you everyone for participating. There were a lot of great designs and Ximena was very pleased with the array of choices.

She has selected the following 3 designs as the finalists.

Name: Wincaya (Post 27)
Final Feedback: Just a change in font for my name - not a fan of what the X looks like in that font. Maybe a font more like Post 31.

Name: Wincaya (Post 31)
Final Feedback: I like everything about this except the color scheme, would like to see something with more of a pink background vs the aqua color.

Name: weirdXtreme (Post 21)
Final Feedback: The name needs to be Events with an 's' as does the url, and I don’t like the font, especially the X, so a change in font to please.

wincaya and weirdXtreme, please reach out to me via PM and we can do the final submissions via PM. Once she gets the final submissions she will pick between wincaya and weirdXtreme for the prize ($75). I will be awarding a second place prize ($20) since you both made it to the finals.
