Some pointers for ALL entrants..... The client likes the blue, green, white combo. Here is the actual blue background hex color from the current website design ==> (#24588C) The client also like the .com tucked UNDER the Z in Digz. The client also likes to see both all lowercase and with the Z and D capitalized. They are still deciding on what version they like best. Right now I think they are leaning towards all lowercase. More to come. As I get info I will share it immediately. Thanks again Everyone!! GOOD LUCK!
Just wanted to drop a quick note to everyone involved with the contest. We had some great new entries and some great revisions submitted overnight. I am going to gather all the submissions and present them again to the client this morning. I'll be posting another feedback post around lunchtime (EST). Thank you again to everyone who has participated so far. We have some REALLY strong contenders. Keep up the good work and Good Luck to all!!
Everyone, my meeting with the client was pushed until this afternoon. Will post the feedback as soon as I get out of the meeting. Thanks for your patience. Good news is I got a couple more entries to show them due to the meeting getting pushed.
Ok, everyone today is the last day. There are only 3 hours left in the contest. So get your final revisions and submissions in. I will stop taking entries at 12:00pm (noon) today. Just a quick update on what the next steps will be after the submission window is closed. They will have one more final review session, this time with a focus group. They will review all the logos that made the finals and decide on a winner. I'll annouce that winner by the end of the day today and the prize will be paid right after the announcement. I'll ask for paypal emails via PM. I can tell you already that there is DEFINITELY going to be a winner choosen and I will DEFINITELY be awarding some additional prizes due to the GREAT participation in this event. Well done everyone!! Here is the feedback from yesterdays submissions/revisions. Sorry for posting it late. They pushed my meeting back and then I had a family engagement last night. Ok.......drum roll please.......and the winner is ...... Erick0225 Congrats!! You won the $75 grand prize. As I mentioned in my opening post....I usually like to issue some runner up prizes as well..... 1. puttu ($10) -- you were a favorite among the finalists 2. iamwiki ($10) -- you were a favorite among the finalists 3. topsniper ($5) -- you are a machine -- you get the most entries award. Erick0225, puttu, iamwiki, and topsniper please pm me your paypal email addresses so I can send you your prize payments. Erick0225, I will get with you via PM regarding some additional work they would like you to do as well. Everyone else, I can't thank you enough. The client was extremely impressed with the number of quality entries they received. You made it very difficult for them to choose a winner. That is honestly due to the amount of talent here on DP forums. I thank you all for your submissions and for those who didn't win I offer my thanks for your time and effort. Keep up the good work everyone! Thanks, Gerad - Techs4Less
