Thanks Ariestoteles, I am still thinking about this one a lot. Trying to decide if all the images in the background blend together well... I asked a few people and they said it may be a little cluttered and disorganized. Let me think about it some more though, really appreciate your efforts so far!
wow, this is awesome... I wish I had a business in Canada because I would buy this off you. It's so simple, yet elegant and distinguished. It's like something you would see a Fortune 500 company use. Very well done, it may not suit 'net/web 2.0' tastes, but this is great work. I could seriously see like a bank, or credit card company, or an investment firm based out of Canada using this. Just thought I'd let you know I like it, lol
In a nutshell: YYZ is a morse code for Toronto International Airport. I'm a big fan of Rush - A Great band from Toronto. The YYZ Media reminds me of their song "YYZ". In this logo, I incorporate the CN Tower, which is a famous landmark in toronto, along with its familiar scenery. The CN Tower has a Carbon fiber texture to give a Web 2.0 effect, and resembles a Traffic Control Tower that signals (probably YYZ). You will notice that there are lines and dots above the MEDIA, they are morse codes - YYZ. I hope you like it! Hi Coolwanz, Thanks for you excellent entry, but it reminds me way too much of the Toronto Maple Leafs logo.
I like the effort that you put into this. I am still thinking about this one though. I am not sure I like the carbon fibre look on the main logo. I will keep this in mind though.
I agree, I am still keeping this one in mind. Right now I am asking a lot of different people for input and this is one of the favorites.
I like the second one, it reminds me of an MTV logo I saw somewhere. Some people say its a little too flowery though, so I am still thinking about it. Maybe if you could try a few more colors to make it look a little more masculine it may help.
Nobody wants to try the pseudo crest style on this page: http://www.logolounge.com/articles/default.asp?Archive=True&ArticleID=540?
