Before I start focusing on giving individual feedback, I wanted to provide one general one that applies almost to everyone participating. I see a lot of people are taking the name quite literally by trying to infuse "VR wear" as a graphical element. Besides it being an un-original move, by doing so, it ties the website to VR only. I'd like to actually walk away from that notion, keeping in mind AR and AI are very important components of the site as well. Remember, it is a news outlet that may cover other topics. So if there is an icon to go with the name of the site, I'd literally limit it to play on letters VR. Or do something very very subtle. When I brought up examples of logos that I like, you'd notice that all of them come down to typography and subtle elements. Typography is definitely going to be one of the key components in my decision making. Come up with something like cnet.com or zdnet.com and that will be a very strong entry. Think what the logo can do and what it can represent not in the moment, but long term. So typography is going to be almost the key component in my decision making (as I mentioned, find one that's so killer and if I have to buy an extra license for it, so be it), followed by a subtle and clever play on anything graphical. On this note, I'd say @me2_me2 is currently working the most promising direction, followed by @BagusDesign and I still think that @pehulz first pixelated entry was very fun and worthy of exploring further.
