$75 Logo Contest

Need a logo for a club called United Truck and Tractor Pullers. Current site is at www.unitedpullers.net but this logo is part of a complete redesign of the site.

This is a club that participates in tractor pulls. They want something “awesome”.

Two logos they like:
www.westcoastnationals.com – They like the shiny chrome and 3D effects.
www.outlawpulling.com – They like how the wording Truck & Tractor Pulling is smaller than the name.

There are no colors picked for the logo.

Need to be able to print on vinyl banners, web, brochures and other material.

Logo must be unique.

Final .PSD file needs to be resizable. Any non-standard fonts may need to be included in final delivery.

Payment via PayPal.

 

I will join, when is the deadline ? Will the new logo be around the same size as on the site now? will they keep the black background ? Also are they looking for picture or nice drawing of a truck or tractor in the logo ? Just want to make sure before I start. thanks.

 

a4hire: They really don't know what they are looking for, but what I'm looking for is something to design their new site around. The new site is a blank slate at this point. I don't have a deadline for the contest, but would like to end it by February 16. I think an image in the logo might work, but the two they said they liked seem to be a little more abstract.

a4hire: I'm not looking for any raster images in the logo. This has to be expandable.

Daukoten: I really like the third logo you did. I will definately include this one in the judging by the client. Thanks for the entry!

Renderwork: I like the logo. I just don't know if I like how the wording is split up. Don't delete it though because I think it's one they might like. You might try some other variations on the wording.

Article Person: Not quite what I'm going for. It feels too young or soft can't put my finger on it.

Will haynes: They said either wording is fine. I personally think they should put their whole name in the logo though. Your logo looks nice, but these guys are a rough crew. Honestly I think your logo is too "professional" looking meaning that it looks more like a logo for the business guy who might attend a race occasionally on the weekend.

Ani: Very nice design. Can you try a different font? Also the wording of truck & tractor pullers is warped too much. It makes it look like it isn't really on the banner. Overall very nice though.
