We are looking for logos to brand various products with. Our current logo graphics work well with our site but no so much for branding purposes. We own an MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) site that specializes on clothing and gambling. The URL should be in the logo. The site domain is MMA Full Contact dot com We are looking for a top notch logo design so please do not submit unless you think your design is worth the $75. The onyl reason we are making this a contest is to get multiple ideas as we are not sure what we want but we know that we don't want something ordinary or something that has been overdone. VERY IMPORTANT: We are looking for something square! We know our domain is a little long, but that is why we are paying $75 so some creativity comes out! We are also offering a second place just to hold onto really in case we run into any issues (when you try to make shirts and stuff, sometimes is doesnt appear as cool as it does on the computer screen). Delivery should be expected to have PSD, fonts, etc. Payment will be made via PayPal. We don't have a specific end date, but want something right away. If you have questions, ask.
hey what do you mean in "We are looking for something square!" you mean you want the logo to be inside a square? i will give it a try in this contest just please let me know what you mean by that
I think he means, he doesn't just want an icon.. and then his entire domain written out horizontally next to it which creates a very long logo. So I guess we need to be creative with how we incorporate the text into the logo. =P
Yes, literally a square. 150x150, 250x250, we are looking for a square shape so we can use it on varying products that require a square shape for branding.
Well I just designed this but it could easily fit into a square since it is a perfect circle. I honestly dont like the outcome so please throw your feedback at it! I think I need to create something that is more oriented on the text itself and not the icon. What do you think?..
I do think the fist is overdone. everyone has it. Keep in mind we will use this as an avatar in forums, facebook, twitter, etc so we do want the domain to stand out. It is very clear here so that is fine, but I do agree it is a big fist with an afterthought of our site. Just looking for a cool design that shows our URL, think "tough", not just a punch.

What do I mean? You asked if this is more of what i was looking for, and I said not at all...it is not at all of what I am looking for. I don't mean to be rude, but would you pay $75 for that?
I wasn't confused as to why you didn't like it, I just wasn't sure what your "not at all" was referring to so I just wanted to make sure. No I wouldn't pay $75 for that. But I'm not sure what your looking to spend $75 on. You said you just want a small square the size of 150 or 250 with your URL inside. Well here.. I tried again. I went back to my circular design which I think looks much better, but i downgraded the 'fist' and brought out the URL like in my square design. Any feedback? Is this closer to what your looking for?.. (just to point out, my designs are being done in Illustrator so they ARE fully vector and can be re sized for anything. So ignore any rough edges on these previews) An example of it on a sticker that could be used for any product:
