Contest $75 logo contest - currency site

I am creating a currency comparison site which will allow visitors to compare currency rates between different fx providers.

Therefore I need an elegant and professional vector logo.

First and foremost: Please do not PM me during contest, I will not answer them, all entries/questions must be posted in the this thread. Sorry but its too complicated to manage the contest with PM's.

Scope
- Logo text "Compare Travel Cash".
- The logo should be laid out like the example below and contain a compass and a globe with the text surrounding the logo.
- Consider the example below to be a paper napkin concept so please offer up your design ideas
- The font should be elegant but modern (the one below is just an example)
- DO NOT use jpegs in the logo. This will be a vector logo.



Deliverables
- will need to be in .ai (Illustrator) format
- any fonts used need to be included in the files or "outlined".
- you will need to output a greyscale version of the logo for faxes

Closing date of Contest
Sunday 12th of August 2012 - 6pm GMT

Payment
Winner will be paid via paypal immediately after being chosen.

I think if the compass of the top left one was in gold color leaving the earth as it is in the blue and grey, then it might be the start of a decent logo.

Maybe try a version with the same compass but globe a bit bigger (similar size to bottom left one?).

The bottom two compasses are very elegant but I think placing text around them would be difficult due to the high points of the needles and would leave a significant amount of whitespace.

Due to some great designs being submitted we are finding it very hard to choose the winner.

We have two main candidates for the running, therefore I am extending the contest to wednesday 15th of August 2012 6pm GMT.
