l3fty: very nice... simple and professional! The only problem is that it has nothing to do with finance at present. I would suggest making the lion a bit more transparent, and instead overlaying some kind of financial instrument... I'm liking the stock chart that masjacky did the most.

Aderain: sorry, that is honestly a step in the wrong direction... make it more like what masjacky, zyndtel and l3fty are doing

Masjacky: very nice, I like that a lot! The main concern now that I have is that the lion just seems to be thrown in there... what you did with the integration of the A in PSIA and the stock chart is PERFECT. I hope that you can get a revision in that makes the lion a more integral part of the design because I am very impressed.

Zyndtel: Closer, but the stock chart doesn't seem to fit at all. Look at what masjacky and l3fty did... everything needs to fit and flow like they have it. Too many colors make the stock chart the focus, when I think the focus should be "PSIA" and the rest should support it. I like the way it looks, but the stock chart just looks odd in my opinion.

All-

Very good stuff, the managers and myself are looking at all of your designs now. This competition ends in 10 hours, so I think it is important to get one more revision in before we choose a winner. The main complaint is in how you are all portraying the Nittany Liond, which generally looks like it is "sad" or "confused"... have a look at this for how the actual looks like: http://graphics.fansonly.com/schools/psu/graphics/shrine012907.jpg

Chewysmom: I think you are starting to get it... I would have the lion better integrated though, and definitely not in the circle which looked a bit awkward in my opinion. Try moving it to behind the "PSIA" text in a semi-transparent fastion. Again, your lion needs to not look "sad" like it does currently.

Aderain: I liked your design back on page 1, please note that you have the stock chart pointed in the wrong direction... and it should look more like this: http://www.asitis.org/files/imagecache/Photo/main/stock-chart.png . I think that filling in the inside of the chart w/ bars like masjacky did would be a nice idea too. Your latest design is definitely an interesting change, and while it is a bit too "advanced" for the simple look we were going for... we will certainly consider it.

masjacky: I tihnk yours is one of the best... and I really like the way you integrated the lion on the last design, but the "PSIA" logo then looks quite awkward, I think it would be best to get the lion like you have it on the third one along with the rest of it the way you did in the first one. Also, if you could make the green underlay colored navy "Penn State" blue, that would be a big help when we go into voting amonst ourselves.

Zyndtel: A lot of the managers like yours the best, but one major correction is to make sure that the stock chart is pointed in the right direction... not backwards like it is in your latest revision. I would have the stock chart line bigger to match the style of the bars undeaneath. A quick revision might be as simple as flipping the whole logo horizontal and than beefing up your stock chart line a little bit and "softening" the colors a bit to make the blue a bit less in-your-face.

L3fty: Your's is my current favorite, but it needs a few revisions. Try to see the picture of the lion I attached above, it looks like it is "confused" in your current mock up, and needs to look more like the Nittany Lion we have all come to know and love. Your chart idea is fantastic, but i think it still looks a tad awkward and would like for you to make the gridlines a bit smaller with the arrow on the top a bit more pronounced, not bad though... very nice
