    Sorry for the confusion. Yes, I'm looking for original artwork and I will extend the contest until 5pm tomorrow (another 15 hours or so). So far I think I like alexander's submission the best although several others are on the right track.

    @ jotac, I like the direction you're heading in but it's too close to the original artwork of captain america. I'd like the shield to be featured a bit more prominently and maybe have the character between the two words as well? I'm thinking a shield with a CR on it would be good to use as the favicon.

    Also, just to answer a couple of questions I've received, yes the header will be used in a wordpress theme but it does not need to match the theme as I currently have it on the site. I'm just toying around with different themes etc so ignore that aspect.

    Also, entries via PM are allowed but it may take me a little longer to give you feedback.

    Just noticed this submission... I like it as well although would prefer just one character in it and maybe not quite so shiny and a little blue mixed in. I do like the look overall though.

    Just a couple hours left. Any last minute submissions? I've received a couple interesting ones via PM as well that are pretty good.

    Aimres, I like the direction but the character needs a bit more clarification as it still looks a bit abstract to me.

    And just for any people entering at the last minute, the character can not just be a version of Captain America with the colors changed. It needs to be a character you have come up with on your own. You can certainly take cues from the original captain America (such as the look of his shield, mask etc,) but it must be original artwork.
