    Hey all, I did a contest quite a while back and was so impressed with the results that I'm back again!

    The site is CaptainRandom dot com and I need a header in two sizes (460x100 and 635x140) as well as a favicon.

    The idea I had in mind was a take off of Captain America preferably in green and maybe blue as a secondary color. I was thinking the shield would be great for the favicon but I don't want to box you guys in too much.

    The contest will last for 48 hours until 10pm (central) on Saturday and the winner will be paid via paypal immediately upon receipt of the files.

    Thanks for the entries so far. I'm looking for something that looks a bit more like a comic book. I like the colors on CnSGD's entry but I'm looking for having the character in it.

    Aries, not real fond of the colors and I'd like the character a bit larger if possible.

    Here's my shot at it... I'm a Vector designer, so my action hero design I did for you is also available in a 100% layered/scalable vector format (Handy in case you ever want to edit it or scale it up for fliers, billboards, etc.. sizes).

    If I don't find a header I like by the end of the contest I suppose it could be extended but I'm hoping to end it on time.

    Aries, I like having the character featured more prominently. I am still not digging the colors though.

    Scorpion, I'm looking for something a bit more comic book like in appearance.

    Here are a couple of pics of Captain America that caught my eye. Now obviously I don't just want a green and blue of these but something along these lines.

    While I appreciate you taking the time to enter, I'm not looking for just a swiped image of Captain America. I'm looking for something similar, almost a spoof of Captain America, but something unique and preferably in green and blue.

    Thats cool, I understand. I had fun doing it, so it wasn't a loss for me. I'm sure there will be other designers coming along shortly to give more options.
