Well I'm glad we've summed up the digital point contests section.

Ok, I want to let you all know that I am sorry about what happened. All I have in my bank is $5.36 and I need that to keep my account open. Also, we have two designers and coders. (only two people) and we had 3 clients last week and the week before. I do not get the money, Don gets it so he can begin paying off bills that kept piling up. He did say he would transfer the 75 to me when the contest ended, but he chose not to because he wants to come up with a logo himself since he's not busy anymore.

Also, I have Autism... look it up and read a little about it please. For some reason, that affects the way my mind thinks. I do wish I could pay everyone who entered at least $25 each so you all got something for your time, but unfortunately I don't have the money.

Also, I don't steal work. I create great enough graphics. I could not create the logo myself because I am on an IBM Thinkpad T22 (looks old, not quite sure on the year though.) and Photoshop takes 10 mins to load. I am waiting to get my Compaq fixed (screen cracked when I was in college... rough night.) and then I'll be fine.

So are you gonna give ATLEAST a +rep and a iTrader rating for everyone?

I suppose you are correct since no transaction actually took place. A +rep would be nice though :)

If that's the case then jokomamita can leave a negative iTrader considering he/she was involved in this directly.

    Damn!

I never knew that this CH would be acting so cheap!

Anyway, thanks for the great catch jeda.

I'm going to leave this CH a PM now asking him to pay or else, I have no choice other than to take some legal actions.

Will update you guys regarding this.

That contact information is not correct anymore.

For one, I moved. Second, I don't own a phone anymore and third, my email address changed because I don't really care for hotmail. And messenger isn't on my new computer.

Also, Twin River Media is no longer the name. It isn't registered anymore as a company name.

The logo you guys saw, I have the full PSD to. My coworker found this thread, and recreated it... then I changed the colors and modified little bits of it. I had no idea he got it from this thread... I thought he created it and messed up. Honestly, I thought he made a terrible logo, but that was the only thing I had, so I placed it on my twitter account. Then he came up with a new logo, and that is on our old website. He didn't say he got the idea from a thread on Digital Point. The only thing he said was "here, I thought I'd create a logo for you since you are having problems."

I completely forgot about this thread until I got a threatening PM, so I thought I'd check it out. The cloned logo is no longer being used, so no need to worry. Besides, I have more important things to worry about... bills and my clients.

I just think People shouldn't start contests if they can't afford to pay for them (That's what a budget is for). As far as legal issues, that's between the designer & the one who's accused of infringing their rights. It is kind of odd that the design the CH's friend ripped was from the same exact thread as his contest though & that the CH didn't remember the entry at all that was in his own thread. (shrugs)

Sad it had to come to this, but good that he at least took it down before the legal process started :)
