I'm looking for a logo for a website with the same kind of feel as a dating website. It's not a dating website, but I would like the logo to contain the same kind of feel. I'd like maybe a cartoonish image of a hot girl with a hot guy. For the text, just put in "Hottie.com" and we will have the winner change the text to the actual domain when they are chosen. The second part of this contest is a little different. We're looking for a ncaa tournament like bracket, but we need it to leave room for pictures instead of team names. In the center/background of the bracket, the logo designed above should be included, slightly faded. We're not exactly sure what to expect on this one, so get creative! Look forward to seeing your submissions!
"would it be possible to join the contest for just the logo?" Yes, but you won't receive the full $75, I'll get back to you soon on how much the logo by itself will be worth. "hmmm....i still don't understand yet.." Logo - pretty self explanatory Bracket - I realize this is a strange request. Here's what I'm looking for: http://www.greatseats.com/images/bracket/2008_bracket.gif We want something like that, except the names of the teams need to be replaced by images. The images will be dynamically generated using PHP, so really we're just looking for a concept of how to best do this. Think about it like a tournament bracket with images, and be creative. If that made no sense, let me know, and I'll try harder to explain the concept.
The idea is that theoretically, one person will submit a logo, and a bracket, and be paid a total of $75. If for some reason someone can't figure out a way to design a bracket, but still wants to submit a logo, we'll have to negotiate the price with them should we decide we like their design the best. If we decide to choose one person's logo, and another's bracket, we'll negotiate with both of them until we reach a price everyone can agree on. The prize awarded for both together will add up to $75 one way or another. No, we would want the logo you design in the middle, where the NCAA is in the image I posted.
People seem to be pretty confused by this, so I'm going to separate the competition into two different ones, one for the logo, and one for the bracket. I'll make a new post for these competitions.
