Hey guys, I just revamped the No Budget Film-making Kit product and upped the commission to 75%. http://www.nobudgetfilmmaking.com My affiliate resource page is fairly small...I was wondering what types of affiliate tools you guys would like to see for a product like this...keywords, sample articles, tracking? Maybe more banners? (what size?) Any thoughts on a few things I can do to help affiliates promote would be great. Thanks!
I really like the niche. It can work very well. Have you done any internal testing? You must put a keyword list on the affiliate page.
yep I agree with Jacky8, a keyword list would be very helpful! (testing results) also some articles and some autoresponder msgs. if you could provide these I will jump right in!
OK, great...thanks for the input. I will work on adding those things to the affiliate resources page on monday. Any other thoughts?
If there was ever a niche that begged for a video on the sales page, then this would be it. The video would kinda be like screen shots of earnings for a MMO product.
yeah I was really into your page, I am not one for making movies but anyone who is, will definately take interest in your product.
Not sure what you mean about the screenshots...could you explain? I am thinking of adding a video...but it would have to be a great video because of the niche. The audience for this product would definitely judge the quality of the video. If I do add a video, it will take me a little while to get one up. Thanks for your input!
MMO products show screen shots for "proof" that their system works. Posting a video would be your "proof" that your system works. And yes, it would have to be very high quality but think what that "proof" would do for conversions.
Good call domainiac...I will try to add a video soon! Also, I just saw another thread that talked about opt-ins on product pages and how some affiliates avoid promoting products with opt-ins. What are your thoughts on that? I personally think the opt-in gives me extra chances to help the affiliate make the sale. I never replace any hoplinks or override any cookies. But, do you think I should offer an option for my affiliates to turn OFF the opt-in form??? I could easily offer a way to turn it off by adding a variable to the hoplink. Thoughts???
