I'm helping a non-profit called Americans for Informed Democracy design a banner for their website, along with new buttons and sidebar headings. The contest IS EXTENDED to Tuesday, 7/19. Here is the info they gave me: Motto: young leaders of today creating a better tomorrow Americans for Informed Democracy is a nonprofit national student organization that educates and mobilizes students around global issues. For more information please visit our website at http://www.aidemocracy.org/. We are revitalizing our website and looking for a new banner, buttons, and sidebar headings. Awarding first and second prizes of $75USD and $25USD, respectively, through PayPal. Design should be energetic and have a youthful, activist vibe. See below for more details. Banner Banner should use the current logo (see top left of website homepage) or some revisioning of that logo Banner may but not required to incorporate any of the photos under the set "New Website Banner" on Flickr Banner should use the blue and orange that are main colors on our site, but may also include a red color similar to the one on this website Banner should be 960 px wide (with 165 px for logo on left) by 150 px high. Buttons Incorporating the same colors and a similar design as the banner, we need designs for the three buttons on the right sidebar of our home page, “Join Our Network,†“Donate,†and “Contact Us.†Buttons should match banner well, and can incorporate photos from link above. The sidebar area is 260 px, and we would like the new buttons to be slightly larger than the ones currently on the home page. Sidebar Headings We are also looking for a new design for the headings on the right sidebar, for the menus such as “Current Opportunities†and “What We’re Saying.†We would like you to design a single sidebar heading, as we can edit it and adjust the text as needed for the other ones. Once again, the sidebar is 260 px wide and the headings should have some white space on both sides. Headings for sidebar should match banner and buttons. Project requirements These are required for all submissions. We like your banner design, but are looking for something a little more creative. The photos are great, but we want something a little more interesting looking with a less standard look. We're extending the contest, so feel free to post another try
