75,000+ Uniques (100,000 Visits)

I've recently come across an inexpensive way to get 75,000+ Uniques every 48 hours. Only trouble is that some of the traffic to my sites is the result of pop-ups. Is anyone aware of programs that will allow this kind of structure and won't ban accounts? I'm looking for a way to make money with this... suggestions would be appreciated.

If you use popups as a form of advertising then your traffic is likely to be very untargeted and it is rather hard to make any money from this. Popups has been around for years and only get on peoples wick.

 

I have thought about using them myself (in my darker moments) but I want people to come and enjoy my site and I know that it would annoy them. I think it works in the pure adult niches tho.

 

Are you saying that popups will drive 75K uniques? Or that your advertiser doesn't allow traffic coming from popups?

sounds like trash popunder traffic... which probably isnt worth the 5.00 u will be paying.

 

I've played around with methods of driving vasts amount of traffic to sites and in general it isn't worth it. If you are using pop ups or pop unders the users don't want to see your site anyway, so most of them just close it.

Also if you are running Adsense, Google seems to do a pretty good job of identifying this type of traffic, so I wouldn't expect your ads to be very worthwhile anyway. Worse case you could get kicked out of adsense for something like this.

 

Think of this.

When you surf the web, do you like popups. I don't like them and that also includes alot of others that use the web. Now if your website keeps poping up, then they will just close it and further more will get annoyed by your site and they will probably end up hating it.

 

Fact of the matter is, pop-ups/unders work...regardless if people like them or not. People hate email spam too, but again, it works. You can't generalize with your own likes/dis-likes.

As for how to monetize, this type of traffic are going to be people that are just clicking away and probably like something for free. I'd suggest setting up a "subscribe to my newsletter and get 'whatever' for free!"

Then, you'll get email addresses you can send out offers for or offer advertising to other listers.
