Most designers can't work in small sizes. So if they win and have a bigger size than requested, The designer sizes it down.

Unless of course it's not vectorized..

 

Why not size it down right away? Sizing down a larger image will lose alot of detail and it may look nothing like the original larger image (even if it is vector).

 

If the CH likes the style of your logo then you can just re-create it.

I guess I should have been more specific...

Some of the larger images that were posted contain fine lines and other elements that when shrunk down won't be as visible. This is independent of whether or not they are vector images.

 

Stop to flood the topic

 

@bakerbacker: that's because we're showing samples! That means we can re-size it.
In my case I designed it to look great on the requested resolution, just that I wanted to show it as a bigger sample for more detail. Nobody is being dumb in here. And I agree with plazma. Stop flooding the topic.
Each designer has his way for showing his samples.
