74 Hops less than 24 hours, ain't enough...

I have been promoting three products from clickbank and I have chosen to promote first one product and see where it goes. Guess what? I got 61 hops for that product alone with no sale.

The other one has 12 hops while the other one has 1 hop. That's a total of 74 hops yet no sale. I don't if it's something I am going to celebrate about or get frustrated. I have published 1 article in hubpages with my hoplink on it and one in my blogspot with hoplink on it. The rest is through sending emails to people on my list.

Let's see 24 hours is not over yet, got few hours to work on this. It's kind addictive and the hype of getting the first sale is really somethin!

You sent emails, but you don't know whether they can afford it or not/\
So it means you don't know the quality traffic/\
Keep walking and good luck my brother/\

I know they can afford the product since the emails come from clients of mine. So hopefully things will change for the next couple of days.

A product's conversion rate between 1:50 to 1:100 is high. 17 hoplink clicks from 3 products can tell nothing.
    Keep working and good luck!

ah okay, im kinda new to clickbank and just started almost 24 hours ago. i am just testing the waters here. kinda confused which niche to focus on. I am more of using free methods since i don't have the needed capital to start it all big!

A step in the right direction, but too small a sample, submit another 20 articles over the next 2 weeks and see where you stand from there - don't give up yet!

@ submp3s : okay i will submit 20 unique articles to article directories and see where this will be going! I am just taking things slow and see which work and which don't. Thanks for the advice:)

yup, above is true. I have a site that passes traffic to cb and i make a sale every 200 or 300 hops. More directed traffic and i make a sale approx 1 in 20. Quality of traffic makes a hell of a difference

That is really nothing to worry about. You may need way more hops to even expect to make a sale! Sometimes you can get lucky and and make a sale during your first hops 1 to 15 hops, but that is not always the case. Just keep on working and try to track where exactly your traffic is coming from.

    This is the truth.
Take some of my numbers from the last 2.5 weeks for example:
    1077 hops
    109 order form impressions
    3 sales

chosenlight, do you have any advice how I can get more directed traffic?

Are you pre-selling to people? You have to warm them up so they trust you and buy through your link.
