Contest [72HRS] $US65 --> Logo for Construction Company

The last two contests I post did not draw as much attention as I thought it would. So I decided I would
a) increase the prize the contest
b) separate the contest content

Now I come with the Logo Contest first
Logo-Prize $65USD
Time:72 hrs

Create a logo for a construction company named NKK Construction

a) it contains the word NKK in the logo
b) the original design is two towers connected by a bridge(the alphabet N), the two Ks are above and under the bridge.


c) please take the same idea as mentioned in point B and make it more TRENDY, ELEGANT, SIMPLE and DISTINCTIVE.
d) please keep the word NKK but you can design in the form that person can recognise it is construction related company.
e) the color combination can be used from "gold, orange, aqua blue, white and black", but no more than 2 color in the logo.

Thank you for all your efforts in this contest. It is a very tough decision to make a choice.


So far, the best entries which fit my client’s likings and approaches are the following (in no particular order):-

FEEDBACK:

My client would like to KEEP THE ORIGINAL LOGO (especially the two towers connected by the bridge concepts-the alphabet N). Client ONLY wants to ENHANCE the Original Logo and make it MODERN, TRENDY, ELEGANT, SIMPLE and DISTINCTIVE.

@SGDESIGNS: likes this new approach, could you make the horizontal line more solid (thicker?) and position the two alphabet “K” more closer to the original version with different color (but stick with gold, orange, aqua blue, white and black).

@Skaritza (first entry): would like to see another version of this logo with a bridge (Horizontal Line ?) connecting the two towers in a different version and color (but stick with gold, orange, aqua blue, white and black).

@ kainraziall: the style of the tower looks very distinctive, could you try to erase the bridge strips (only keep the Alphabets "K" and "N" as the element of the logo) and put the two alphabet “K” “back inside" the alphabet “N” and keep the logo simple. Could you show me the logo in different version and color (but stick with gold, orange, aqua blue, white and black).

@Ashish92: Could you show me different version with the K in different position and make the logo in different color (but stick with gold, orange, aqua blue, white and black).

@ Dreamer05: This modern idea is very nice, could you try to modify your logo closer to the original one without the “lighting” and try different color (but stick with gold, orange, aqua blue, white and black).


TO THE OTHERS THAT I didn’t provide feedbacks to – Nice work done but Client would like to see a version closer to the original and I could not think of any realistic way to make it closer. My advice would be to use the current Top 5 submissions as an idea of what client is looking for.
