Selling 728x90 Banner space to sell - High Volume Site Above the Scroll

I have a sports site & forum that does high volume traffic (over 2,000,000 - 3,000,000 page views and 100,000 uniques monthly) and I have two ad networks, one of which is providing a low fill rate where I'm squandering about 16,000-20,000 potential impressions daily.

I'd like to fill them, and have decided I'd offer a great deal for anyone who wants to take advantage.

For anyone interested I'm offering a ridiculous deal of $100 for a year, which will put your banner into the rotation for any available inventory in which there would normally be a "default view". I'm going to be accepting multiple banners, and it's a high quality NFL site that's 10-years old in an above-the-scroll location - which means you'll get prominant positioning when it does appear. This means that you'll likely get hundreds of thousands of impressions for your investment over the next 12 months right where people will see them.

It's all original content that I've been running for over a decade, with one of the biggest forums in our market. I'm in need of generating some money in an effort to do some upgrades heading into this season, so I figured this would be a good inexpensive way to hopefully get some of my fellow DPer's involved. I'm only doing this price because I need to get some things done in the next week or so, and I figured this would definitely attract some businesses fairly quickly - as well as give them a chance to test the waters with our site. Hopefully if you like your experience on a limited basis you'll come back next year on a larger scale.

Please keep the demographic in mind, and I'll only be accepting ads for high quality businesses, and sites with good reputations. No shady adult, gambling sites, etc. You also need to have a good reputation here on Digital Point, preferably people who have been here a while.

Anyway, if you'd like more info PM me, and I look forward to hearing from you!

I can PM you the URL - it's a very popular NFL team site. And no moneybookers - PayPal is the preferred payment. If PayPal is acceptable let me know and I'll send you the URL and some other information.

To answer a couple of questions that have come up, my fill rate with my current ad network is only about 60%, which is where your ad would be included, and their control panel allows for controlling the balance of how often each default ad would be shown. So I'll make sure it's shown equally with the other people who take part in this.

After fielding a question on this last night and doing some more research after looking at the numbers, the number of impressions not being filled are a bit higher than I wrote in the original post, so here's about what you'd be expecting:

Based on the number of ads I'm looking to sell for this, the number of ad impressions over 12 months is estimated to be: 608,000 (This could even be 100,000-200,000 higher - I haven't seen what the numbers will be during the season, which is when traffic is higher, so this is a guesstimate and so I'm projecting lower to play it safe)

Again, this would be above the scroll, right where people will see it when the page loads, and I have screenshots to show examples of the ad location, and proof of traffic if necessary. Obviously I'll PM you the URL when you contact me.

So this makes the CPM $0.164 - which considering the location and the type and quality of our site, I'd like to think is a good deal for anyone looking to try advertising at a low cost. This is also for 1-year, which after talking with someone last night will run from 8/15/10 - 8/15/11.

Hopefully this clears up a few things, and feel free to PM me with any further questions.
