Type of company: A Band. One that specifically performs at sporting events such as American Football games. Think of the movie "Drumline" for those familiar.

Here's a clip from the movie that showcases the type of band:

Design Ideas: If you can have the monster standing on top of different instruments broken and lying around, something like that to show that this "Monstar" is literally a beast. Trying to stick to as much of the drawing as possible.

Colors: Be creative.

Technical Requirements:

1. Will require the source files including AI and PSD files plus a PNG
2. Vectorize it if possible.

Good try....

I definitely like the bottom one, but would like for the monster to resemble as much as possible to my sketch and also would love to see the instruments more or so destroyed, since we're talking about a monster here and maybe have some instrument pieces tangled up and destroyed at his feet. It could be other instruments besides drums as well.

A few suggestions...

Can you make drums be marching drums like snares or bass drums and make them appear to be "damaged" a little as if this monster was just beating on the drums so hard that he almost broke them.

A mixture of these would be great, and also if you could somehow implement other instruments in the mix such as broken or bent trumpets and trumbones and Tubas...whatever works as long as the logo shows the monster's destructive power.

And then the text, I would like to see a little more pizzazz with the font. Basically spice it up a little bit and give it a little more style to match the monster.

I like your overall attempt but the breaks in the drum doesn't really flow with the design. The text doesn't really fit either. Nice try and I definitely appreciate your effort.

 

I LOVE your design, I really do...It's just not for me. I needed logo to match my drawing as much as possible. And yours resemble more of an Ape, although it's an excellent design my friend...just isn't for me.

 

Contestant has also sent me a PM with the leading design thus far...will keep everybody posted. Contestant, when you are finished with the Mods, can you upload your design here to keep things honest with the other contestants?
