I have an anime niche, And I have 71 or so clicks today and Adsense is 3.45. Is this normal for this niche? Any suggestions? Different monetization ideas?
My anime website is paying roughly $0.05 per click. Yours is also $0.05 so it seems normal for the topic.
Yes, It's very normal,if your site are Anime Niche related. There are many people, the less than you earn.
I'm tired of these goddamn threads. 1. Is this the first day you've recieved this low for this many clicks? If so, get the hell out of here, and come back in a week with a consistant report on low earnings. Don't bitch about one day. 2. Could be invalid clicks. Anime websites = Chinese/etc traffic = Low paying clicks. 3. Could just be a bad day. One of my proxy networks earns about $8-9 a day, but it has $3 days, and I dont panic and wet my pants. Personal opinion: Get a better niche. Anime doesn't pay much, since advertisers arent keen for that type of niche.
Not the first day. Today as of now is 40 clicks and $1.40. 90%+ Of my traffic is USA, and 9% European, and 1%~ Asian. Well Perhaps people have ideas to monetize the site. =/
Your other option would be to go for eCPM or Pop-Unders. If you have less than 20K impressions a day, I wouldn't recommend eCPM. So, it looks like your choices are clear. 1. Start working with pop-unders. 2. Test other PPC programs. 3. Sell the site, and work on a new niche.
Do you know how many permutations of this topic there are, too? Forget the ones that actually give their "niche" Most of these people are making under 5 bucks for about 100 clicks or so. That's 50,000 possible threads. (Yikes) And we've only seen maybe 12% of them so far. As stated above, don't look at and freak out about intraday stats.
