This product: http://www.plrarticlesoftware.com jumped by 700 gravity recently, according to cbengine. Anyone have any idea? I am sort of in the same niche (resell rights) so I am looking to learn from this.. The page is so basic, it just has a video and a few bullet points... wow. What could it be?
High gravity = a lot of customers are buying this product using their own affiliate link. That's the secret
Yea, the only people who want to buy PLR articles are affiliates.. So these other webmasters snatch the package for 25% of the price by using their own clickbank ID. This makes the gravity jump. Example: if you were to buy this package, would you want to buy it and pay full price, or get it for 25% by using your own affiliate id?
PLR is a heavily searched niche. It seems the owner executed his advertisement campaigns wisely. The owner is probably not going to tell his secret ingredient in his secret sauce.
Don't worry such products don't last long.. Imagine that someone launching this type of product must have a few contacts under his/her belt.. and they've probably started promoting. The gravity doesn't say much, in this case it could mean 1000 sales or even less. This is pretty similar to Twitter Traffic Machine and all the like, that have been spammed like hell via Twitter, honestly I haven't seen a single conversion in thousands of hops via Twitter, so the Alexa Rank, gravity, traffic once again doesn't say much about a product. Al.
Yes your comments regarding Twitter are true. You can't read too much into those figures for the real relative success of a product.
gravity doesn't mean a thing, there is even software to fake your own gravity. I also saw that 700+ grav product today on cbengine, and it actually raised an eyebrow. this is actually plausible! Just blast out to a list of IMers....and from what i saw the product is only a few bucks. People buy, gravity raises.
If I could make a site get such a high gravity even if short lived I would sell it on flippa and the 700 gravity and the income would be the best selling points and make for earning some decent cash on flippa. Mike
