    Question about your end goal/application.

Are you looking for a design for internet/web application, or a versatile design that works at sizes from business card to billboard and can be displayed on screen, embroidered on business shirts, hats, etc, and screen printed?

Some of these logo designs are beautiful, but won't work well for embroidery, will cost a bundle to screen print (due to the number of colors), and will get lost when reduced to business card size.

I'm not criticizing other designs. I'm just concerned that, by trying to be versatile, I may be keeping my designs too simple for your needs.

If this will primarily be for online display, we can go crazy with color and detail and blending and transparencies. If you're going to be screen printing and embroidering this, then I'll keep the number of colors and fades under control so that the design will translate well into other media.

Thanks for the opportunity to design for you.

@coolwanz: we're more into the lower half of your proposal. Cool stuff in there, very shiny.

@selentice: we're partial to the first logo in your proposal.

@tnt-tek: from all those you just "threw at the wall", all are indeed cool, but we can't say we're particularly impressed with any one in particular, either.

@V06-Tech: feel free and encouraged to try original designs as well! The mockup was only intended to give you guys a hint.

@mlitty: Thanks for the concern. To be honest, we're not too sure where we'll need to use this stuff ourselves. The only thing we know is that right need we need a logo for our website and not much else. We however agree with your observations. As for your attempt, to be honest we suggest you try a different approach. And it's totally cool that your daughter got interested in it ;)

@eruct: Very, very cool reworks you got there. We have no further suggestions, yet feel free to try different color schemes. Good job.

@XFactorLogo: you should reconsider about getting into this one, the more the merrier ;)

@VictoriaAnn: don't worry, your idea is coming right across.

@DustyDog: could you give us a plain version of your #49 entry? Add to it a white background version ;)

As for everyone about whose entry we haven't commented upon, that's basically because we don't have any further suggestions to improve your designs. That obviously doesn't mean you have no chance to be chosen, simply that we don't really know what to say to maybe improve your work. That having been said, we do have a few favorites already, although none that we could consider _the_ logo. But no one be discouraged, still a few days to go.

Stellar work, everyone. It'll be a nightmare to pick one.
