Hello everyone, I"m Lori. I work with InJoyUs. Although I'm not the one who makes the decision on the winner, I thought maybe I could be of some help.

Many of these submissions are going in the right direction. However, nothing is really popping out and speaking to me.

We really want the design to be two fold. One the whole logo; the entire name, by new love creations, 21st century pleasure and the words freedom empowerment diversity.

Then the first two letters to and the circle to be a stand alone logo ... sort of like we all know McDonald's by the big yellow arches.

The In needs to be in a circle and have the words freedom empowerment diversity around it.

We really want to stay away from simple alterations to the logo John sketched out. The logo above is only a starting place.

Please be creative. This little job will lead into more jobs as we build our website and need a ton more graphics done. :)

We want a modern look, trendy, and cool.

We were inspired by the New York Toy Collective website and their logo. But we don't want to copy it. That would just be unethical. However, we do want something sort of similar. Please stop by their website to see where our inspiration came from.

Thank you guys. I'm on the computer all the time. Please if you have a question ask, and i'll get right back to you.

    Lori

Hi, Lori here. I sort of like it. The thing that stands out the most is the i... although John wants it shaped a bit phallic like, the line really makes it pop as being a head. The thing is... we want to be suggestive, but not blatant. Sort of like.... i know what it means but the lady at the grocery store doesn't get freaked out. Or like a club where once you see the image you know what it is. The colors. I really don't like red white and blue... To Army patriotic like.

Be creative, have fun and see what you can come up with. You don't have to stick to our sketched logo. If you have a cool idea. Please throw it out there.

Look at New York Toy Collective also to see their logo. Maybe something similar? IDK.

Honestly, I never dreamed a logo would be so hard to come up with. You all are amazing for your effort and work on this.

I sort of like this. I"m wondering. What if the center of the circle was solid then an outer ring with the words Freedom empowerment diversity in that. Also, I sort of like the concept where the n is stepping out of the circle... sorry i'm not good at terms. Also, maybe play around with the colors a bit. I like the vivid colors but the circle just seems to be too much red. Maybe putting in the second circle with the black background would break up the dot a bit. :) thank you so much for all of your effort. I know this isn't really a quick thing. I do appreciate your work.

I like where this is going. What if we changed up the font a little, tone it down. I guess not so bold and big. I love the way you used two circles and the n is stepping out. What if we put the words freedom empowerment diversity in between the two circles? Thank you so much for this submission.

Can you play some more with this one. I really don't like the tie into our current logo. We really want something fresh and new. Maybe take a peak at New York Toy Collective. The way they use their logo is what we want to do with ours. use only the circle section for a lot of stuff, like branding on our shirts, on our twitter, facebook, instagram, etc... and the way NYTC uses their logo on the site.

Thank you so much for your hard work. I know this can't be an easy task and we're not really nailed down on what we want. I truly appreciate all that you're doing.

Cool, I'm not too keen on the colors. I'll explain in a sec...
The I is to much like a head, tone that part down and just have it sloping
Maybe try Cap the J and U
The colors. I was just fixing to post about it when I saw your post.
We are totally revamping our site.. I'll be doing the photography this weekend. We're going for a very modern urban feel. I'll be using bold mosaics, murals, and natural rock, brick, and concrete as the back drops. So, I"m thinking colors to match that would be cool. Not too bold. A bit softer. But, not pastel.

Thank you so much for your work.

OK this is Now John again (above feedback by Lori who rocks!). I agree with Lori about making the "i" a bit softer, as in not so obviously a penis. Our logo will be everywhere we can get it; on the web, magazines, T-shirts, bags, anything and everywhere...we want to suggestive but not be obvious...look at my original hand drawing. Having said that, your logo is pretty friggin cool. Maybe some light between the dot (head) and the rest of the "i". Also consider an asymmetric profile perspective of the head (dot) as in my drawing (maybe not; i don't know. Just a thought). And reflect on Lori's color comments.

PM you? I really like how this forum allow designers to co-inspire. I'm seeing some better ideas now.

You are the designer so be inspired by my more general words of empowerment. The detail stuff may be off...I will know it when I see it and you are the closest so far.

Many female users identify as male so maybe adding the > to the female symbol...sort of a hybride of male and female symbols?
Also what about using the hybride male/female symbol to the "o" on love (NLC)?

    Strong
    Modern
    Empowerment
    Freedom
    21st century
    Iconic
