Best site has eCPm of approx. $70 (two big square ads - in context) Worst site: $2 CPM approx (one small ad in bottom menu) Average for my sites is $7 What does you eCPm look like?
That is unreal. I was hoping this thread would have the secrets tho I have noticed that the square ads are the best for sure for CTR, so that's good to know. Also doing a test with image only ads (text just aren't doing it)
agreed - $150 ecpm on like 6 impressions, 1 click isn't all that difficult. if you're working 10k min impressions total and that ecpm, then that is impress.
I get $6.5 eCPM on my most popular site for one 250x250 block and for one vertical banner-type block, text ads only. The site has been constantly giving me this CPM for the last 1.25 years so I can't complain. I can make one suggestion for getting a higher eCPM; try displaying fewer ad blocks. This way there is more competition among the advertisers for display space and the value of clicks is higher even if the number of clicks is lower. Having quality content and a good number of links from other sites (so that Google thinks you site as having some authority not being another sblog or something) also helps. Cheers!
That is too high? unless you own youtube or soemthing that is something i will need proof to see haha. I am earning $100 a day on just clicks but not very high cpm. Anyways congrats to you.
$70 is really high. Congrats. Whatever you're doing, don't share your niche or it will be overcrowded in no time. Actually sooner or later any niche is going to be overtaken by MFA sites
Well the high eCPM site is admitedly a low traffic site - but not as low as some people are suggesting. But it has been a consistent CPM rate for thoasands of page views - its not just a one-off.
You can't show Adsense earnings screenshots as it is against Adsense ToS to the best of my knowledge. Plus screenshots prove nothing (easily faked) so they are as much proof as someone typing anything online - I've never paid any attention to screenshots and never will - and neither should you. Anyway for the screen real estate that Adsense takes up I consider it a low performer. There are much better business models available: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=803165
jason what's your niche..if it is indeed legit than congratulations on such a great CPM, I have an average eCPM of around $5.
I'm not going to give away my niche that is getting such a high CPM but I'll tell you this. It is something to do with phones.
