$70 Contest - Graphic Designer

Hi

I am about to completely redesign my web design site, I am not a graphic designer therefore I want someone to create me a graphic, I'm NOT looking for just a logo/banner/ header or photo but a proper graphic.
incorporating "LM Lakeland Design". I want this graphic to be the entire header for my site so require something substantial. It also needs to be timeless, so it's not going to look outdated in a few years.

I am a web designer in the UK lake district, I am female so don't want anything overly manly, like a fish or something

If anyone can come up with something I like I will made payment via PP. I will need confirmation via email first stating that I own full copyright to the graphic.

What should the size of the header be? Any color preference?

Well the site will be designed for 1024 but the larger the better as long as it's a PSD (should of stated that's important), as I can resize.

Colours no really, blues, white, greens, but open to ideas.

 

I want something clean and simple, I have a site that I can show you as an example but I don't want to post the url here because it's purely an example, I don't want anything similar design wise, but it shows you want I consider clean and simple with high impact. PM me if you want the url.

 

I am really surprised there aren't more entries, I have responded to a couple by PM, if I don't get to see some entries soon I may have to rethink the contest, so please join in

Thanks, however I will be completely honest with my feedback (to everyone), that is not really what I am looking for, the photo effect actually strains my eyes. I am looking for more of a complete graphic as opposed to a partial graphic worked around over a photo, I don't really want a photo. I'm also not a fan of the Blue with the Yellow. Thanks for giving it a shot though.

Would love to see more entries.

Thanks for the revision, it's a nice header, but it's still not really what I'm looking for, as I say it's nice but I'm looking for something with more impact.

I want something that bounces off the page a bit more.

I think lake, water or something that indicates design (creativity) is going to be the way to go.

I will access the contest again in 24 hours, I've had lots of interest in PM, so am surprised to see that Sparkle92 is the only entrant so far. If there are no further entries or no replies indicating when entries will be in I will have to thing about cancelling the contest and look at other options.

 

After a point was raised to me in PM that I likely need an Illustrator Artist, I have started a new contest stating this and increased the price slightly and given a bit more detail.
