Thanks nicogarcia, that certainly looks quite nice.

If you could add the top left and bottom right corners, while keeping the top right and bottom left rounded ( something similar to what you had in your original entry ) and if you could do something to make the font slightly less bland - perhaps give the font an outline of some sort... I think you have quite a good entry and are in the lead for now. Aha, and don't forget to fit in my slogan under the big text somewhere in small letters.

nicogarcia, is there a font out there that looks just like the one you use, but with slightly rounded corners.... those harsh edges are just standing out for me?

@nicogarcia: the footballer and the overall size looks good. The font still doesn't cut it for me.

Perhaps someone knows what font Transenmaniac used:

Also, the slogan I don't think should be outside of the image. It should be incorporated someone into the overall logo... up to you on how to do it creatively.... perhaps a small layer under the main logo ( and don't take the color I put in as my suggestion, i just put it show what what I mean... also could add rounded corners )


Again, the layer shape is just my suggestion, I am not creative... but I definitely know that the slogan shouldn't be completely separate from the logo.

I liked better the last piece
Why? Because it has a lighter font, curves means easy going, fun and young.
Fonts with points are used for more serious stuff, not very fun, more "pro"

I put the slogan outside because inside looks very heavy and overloaded.

Anyway, here is another piece.

@NightVisioN: I love the font... and the badge idea.

Could you make the box where the text is slightly of bigger height?

Also, I'd like to see a version on a white background... you'd have to make the border of the badge a different colour.

And of course I'd love to see this with a banner combo.

(also side note, for some reason the bottom point of that badge looks slightly pixelated ).

Note: I can see now the competition is heating up with quality entries from nicogarcia and nightvision.
