I am beating my head against the wall trying to figure out how these darn blogspot blogs get cached in google. I have had this blog since the beginning of January and it has 70 blog entries but there is no record of it in Google. I have other blogs too, with less entries.

What do I have to do to get these darned things cached? I always try to browse through Blogger and comment on other peoples blogs and stuff. I don't know what else to do short of just asking people for links to my blogs!

    # of entreis has nothing to do with it...you need links on sites that get crawled, simple as that.

(assuming of course you're not blocking indexing with robots.txt or something similiar)

I don't have any backlinks I guess....how do I check? I comment a lot on other peoples blogs. I don't know how to make a site map to submit it.

How would I know if robots have been to my blogspot blog and also how would I know if the blocker was in place?

All the content is unique yes.

Get enough posts here to to use a signature (see faq) then add your blog to your signature - that alone will get you indexed. If your blog format is supported (the new blogger is not) add your blog feed via your user CP as well.

to check your backlinks in MSN replace you url in the following example:

    linkdomain:mybloglog.com -site:mybloglog.com

BTY, what is your blog? posting in the forums and placing it in your signature on forums will get you some links

anonforeverything, don't post it here though or I'll have to delete it...then this becomes a "reviews thread" vs a "how do I" thread. You have to meet certain criteria (see faq) to post in the reviews section.

I will try to participate more in the forums so I can put some links in my signature and profile and also I will do a review in a couple weeks when I have met the criteria. Like someone said right above me I don't want to post a link I am just trying to figure out what I have to do!

I just pinged all my sites at http://pingoat.com/ like someone mentioned in another thread I started a couple days ago.

I guess I will add writing on the forums to my arsenal of marketing efforts. I don't mind cause I learn a lot and hopefully I will soon be able to help others!

Also, do you know how to add all those little icons at the bottom of each post for people to Digg and add it to various sites like Delicious and stuff? Is there a website that has the icons for all of them so they all look nice and uniform below each post? I have been having trouble adding stuff like this to Blogspot blogs.
