For those concerned with transactions via Paypal...use this little tip I picked up in the payment processor forums here.

Make a condition of payment via Paypal be that the buyer pay, then open a dispute on the transaction with Paypal, then immediately close that dispute.

Once this is all done, THEN transfer site, send zips, etc.

Once a dispute is resolved, the transaction can not be contested again.

 

Guys ... come on .. give the guy a break ... the iTrader is more of a novelty then anything ... I mean people offer iTrader for free exchanges, for small U$1-2 transactions. And then you get groups of people who give feedback to each other (syndicate if you will ).

I just can't see anyway that anybody will pass up selling a site for that amount of cash just because the iTrader on a forum is too low.

Site is automated, people come and submit new files to download and all you have to do is approve them every now and again, or you can turn that feature off and just leave up the 100+downloads already available which is the largest collection of runescape hacks ever put onto one site.

 

Sorry to double post, but that doesnt work. People can still reverse the payment by calling up there credit card company and saying "unauthorised transaction". Paypal is NOT safe at all.

 

that's why you should stick to escrow sites for larger transactions... it's worth the couple of hundred U$ if it saves your U$70k

Are you okay with Directories?

 

Sorry, forgot to mention this only works with payments made from existing paypal balances. You're right that the credit card transactions can still be reversed.

 

Quick update: I am not overly interested in directories.

The most my partner has spent is well into 6 figures. But at this moment in time we are looking at staying below $70,000.

However, if you have a site that is worth paying more than $70,000 for, then we would certainly take a look.
