Jesus - I think new posters should be made to read a document on the basics of SEO before they are allowed to post!
First of all I didn't ask the question, but no apology necessary, I can tell that you're quite upset about this. But please don't casually dismiss me out of hand because we disagree about one thing, you have no idea what I do or don't know about SEO. Secondly, maybe I don't understand PR very well, I don't know because some people say it's everything and some people say it's nothing, you can't both be right. I do know that quality links are better than crap links and assumed that PR rating of a page was a measurement of the quality of a link from it. I'll just have to test it myself and become one of the loud people saying yes or no about it.
First off PR is dead, do not even worry about it. Secondly, as a couple of people have already said, 70,000 inbound links in a short space of time will get you blacklisted in Google. Thirdly, if they are not links from external, good, wuality, relevant websites it isn't worth doing! Yahoo will lap it up, but Google will see right through it. Good luck though
not more than PR5 . the site is new so it will take time to increese the PR . until 5 will come smoothly after that will take time
First off, there's less than 100 PR9 sites on the entire internet. Second, please tell me what is a more accurate source of Google backlinks than the Google webmaster's tools ? Third, "trust rank" ? Now you've just gone off the deep end with that statement. Granted, linking to "bad neighborhoods" like gambling sites, porn sites, etc is not advisable however, as with the "duplicate content filter" and the "paid link detector" Google claims to have, I seriously doubt any of those truly exist. As a programmer/database administrator who has worked with databases with hundreds of millions of records and full text searches, I can tell you that a lot of this stuff Google is putting out is scare tactics more than anything.
Wow, Forrest. Ya think? Anyway, you can get a PR4 with 1 backlink. Why are you worried about PR? Makes no difference. PR0 sites can outrank sites with much higher PR. I would be more focused on SEO and where you stand in the SERPS for your keyword phrases. That's what's going to bring you traffic (and hopefully convert into $$$).
This whole conversation is quite idiotic - who with any real business knowledge gives a dam about PR, what matters is your SERPS and the $ you can generate from them. This just seems like another one of those threads where kids with no knowledge can brag about how big their PR is in the playground.
if they are pr backlinks? i bet you get pr9 + insane traffic + insane serp I mean 70,000 Backlinks with pr 1-5 is beyond insane! But they would have to come from different ip addresses to get max juice
I know. If you wanna pr6 you should have 8*8*8*8=3600 pr 2. So you should expect at least pr6...maybe even pr7 if you have luck. I assume you have 70 000 pr2.This way you should get pr7 Do you have advice how to easy build 1000 pr2 in a month
No... The pr need to be high like around 5+ or so. PR is worthless though - you need relevant links from relevant sites in your niche. Do you know what you're talking about?
Link are wortless if they don't have any pr Pr Is important as well as right(themed) anchor text on page with relevant content on site that has relevant content. This particular page should have less than 50 outbound links. Pr is trust. We all need trust as well as Googles so you need: 1) pr on page 2) site in niche 3) page in niche 4) themed anchor 5) Not to many outbound links. 6) Older sites(page) - better
