    Hi,

I just need a rough estimate of what PR might be with 70k backlinks? I expect my site to have that much in couple of months :)

Probably a PR10 if you are fortunate to get 70,000 PR9 backlinks :D

Nah, probably about 90% Pr 1-3, with some PR 4 and 5. :)

I predict somewhere between 0 to 10. It's really difficult to say ... depends on the PR of each link, how many other links are on each page, and not least of all, Google's exact algorithm.

With 70,000 links you should be a PR 5 or 6, as long as you didn't sell text links on your site.

I was about to ask the context, I mean if you make 1k posts at a forum with your sig link you can get around 2k backlinks but those wont count as much because they are from the same site.

I would say if they are from seperate sites then PR5-7.

A sheer number of backlinks will not guarantee a high PR, but my best guess would be a PR4 to 6 (PR 5 probably).
Anyways, that's a nice way of getting free links - designing a plugin and requesting for a link. :)

    HI

Depending on the pr of the backlinks you have to your site if many are pr 5-6 then you should get a pr 5-6 if they are more like pr 3-4 then you can expect your site to hit a 3-4

I have around as many backlinks as you if not more.. and my site is a strong pr 4..

    Thanks
    Tom Dahne

Is the link visible to users? If it's not Google might consider it cloaked and penalise you for it.

Building a huge amount of links in a very short time is also something that looks dodgy and might backfire.

At least that's what my take is on backlinks, anyone?

Oh shit!, are you serious? So links that is in display:none style is called cloaking?
