7 Ways to Rake Maximum Benefit from Google Adworks

Adworks is considered as one of the best ways to ensure traffic of 100-1000 visitors per day. Place your ads and you start benefiting from it within minutes. Google adworks still is quite a tricky thing though. It tricks the ones who aren’t quite aware of it but rewards the smart and experienced ones.

Here are a few basic rules to be followed while using Google adworks:

    1. While writing ad, use words like “How to...”, ”Learn”, “Save”, “Free”, “Easy”, “Profit”, “Gain” and “A lifetime offer”, in your ad description. Try to create curiosity among the viewers.
    2. Try to reveal just enough facts about your Product/Service/Website and tempt them to visit your website for further details.
    3. Do not make false claims in the ad description, just to attract visitors to your website, as this may ruin your website’s reputation & prove to be quite a disastrous thing for the future of your website.
    4. Use the right kind of keywords for your adwork which are related to the contents of your website.
    5. The keywords that you select for your adwork will have some common words that keep repeating in every keyword. Use this common word in your ad description.
    6. Always try to have two ad campaigns for a single purpose say ad1 and ad2. These two ad campaigns shouldn’t be very different, but should differ from each other by a word or two. Compare the CTRs (Click Through Rate) of both the ads (ad1 and ad2)and delete the one with the lowest CTR (say ad1 has the lowest CTR and you delete it from your ad campaign), then introduce a new ad say ad3 in its place with again just a few differences from ad2 and now compare their CTRs of ad2 and ad3 and delete the one with the lowest CTR, keep doing this so that your adwork ads keeps improving.
    7. Most of the advertisers pay a high amount for the highly desired No. 1 position in the ad listing. However the No. 2 and No. 3 position are the ones that provide maximum response than the much hyped No.1 position. Quite a strange thing, but a true fact.

Adworks are meant to obtain a high targeted traffic to a website and if your website doesn’t require a targeted traffic then you can always try out other means to obtain your website traffic.

Edit on 1: Google might bounce your ad if you use the word 'Free' apparently is a trademark term for some ISP somewhere. I had to call them up to get approval to use it in any ads!

Hi I'm using it now but i had to get the OK from Google staff them self. maybe I just at a very anyoing person review my ads and flag it. Apparently it's some ISP is Sweden that is called 'Free'. I will be using it on some other ads later on so will see if I can get away with it :p

Yes, very bizarre. Let's see. There is an adworks dot com that leads to a Washington DC-based ad agency with a really, really annoying and overly cutesy site. Nah, couldn't be...
