In my village electricity board cut the power daily 7 to 10. It affects online business.

I want to purchase 4 to 5 hours backup UPS, suggest me best ups with price.

    My budget – 6000Rs to 9000

I have small UPS with 10 to 15 minute backup, it possible to convert it to 2 hour backup ups (adding battery).

Ups wont do any good... You need generators or inverters.. and would cost nearly 20k...

I agree with the posters above. A UPS primary purpose is to provide just enough power for you to save your work and shutdown. They aren't meant to actually power PCs and servers for extended periods of time while you continue your work. Generators or inverters are the way to go there....

Go for APC Back UPS 1100 VA (660 Watts).

Offers nearly 30 - 45 minutes of backup.

Or you can set up big generator machines, inverters, transistors, etc. in your backyard. :D

A generator is enough to power your computer, diesel is expensive though...

Go with 150 AH battery plus 800 VA inverter.. This will give you 4-5 hours of your PC.
But I think you should get laptop if you are serious on your online business...

    Good luck!

MATE --7--10 hrs of backup is not easily avaiable --- u need an online ups---- that is externa batteries to keep u moving . Depending on the pcs u want to run on that 0 u cna add aditional batteries. a single good battery can give u a back of 3-5 hours for 1 single pc -- battery cost arnd 7000 INR; online ups arnd 7 --8K more

These days, UPS are available that can power your PC for 4-5 hours.....It serves all the purpose of inverters but have this ability to provide you uninterrupted power supply when the power cut happens...

Your PC would remain ON and you would not lose any data....!!!

At Rs.10,000/- you can find good inverters in the market, giving you the much needed power to run your business. It is a curse that not only the rural part but also the urban areas in India experience frequent power cuts. We have to live with it :(

Hey , you can easily have an Inverter , at about Rs 9000 , as your requirement is only 2-3 hours .
