That's some great information there :)

Im working on a few products and found thinking of a name really difficult, especially because i thought about using google in my product name but am not 100% sure about the legal implications of this!

There are other products using trademarks in their name but im not convinced they have had a smooth ride so to speak with the usage's!

this really is awesome information. i was thinking of this sort of thing few days ago because there are many products that sound very similar and i think some companies do that on purpose. so people get confused and buy their product or type that thing on google or something like that

Naming products and businesses has always been a killer for me.

Thanks for the tips, but I know it is just in my nature to obsess over a name. I am not sure why I can fly through just about everything else, but this one part of the business just snags me everytime.

I think I may need to go into therapy for naming related OCD.

Great information.. but here is my take.

A name that is catchy and interesting does not suit the product category all times.
A .com is the most difficult one to obtain for a shorter name and that makes sense.
Keywords do look ugly as a product name.

    Any other ideas?
