Hey I wasn't sure where to post this, so if a mod sees it can they please move it to the appropriate forum? Thank you I was looking around the blogging forum here and content creation threads over @ sitepoint and I've realize alot of the bloggers are missing the basics of content creating, so i thought of writing my guidelines on how I do it. > 7 Steps to Perfect Content Writing < Don't get me wrong there's alot of great content out there, but many have excellent points but fail to pass the message through improper use writing techniques. I hope this can help you guys better your already great content Feedback appreciated
Hey Lassar, I understand what you mean, it wasn't detailed. To make the article detailed and answer the topic "How to perfect content writing", my article would be longer than all the Harry Potter books put together It was a general reminder, of the basic fundamentals of writing hope you get my point, regards m3rcc
Very good site..i like all other contents except this one.lol Got some very good ideas and knowledge.
Not THAT general except for point no 7 which is basic stuff. The article could use more detail though.
Well, I think that being general is what makes the article more valuable to different people. You can apply the principles to your circumstances and produce a decent piece.
Thanks for such diverse feedback guys, I really appreciate and respect that. Now, I know what to write for my next article Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas! M3rC
This is one of the best article about content writing. It is very useful for the newbies like me. I have bookmarked your blog. It is really useful....
The only real VALUABLE tip in that 7 "steps"... is "proofreading", I thought that was the only good tip. Blogging is OPINION based, it is not fact-based, It's perspective on issues/subjects by one or multiple guys. A Website, delivers content to an audience delivers facts, and supporting evidence, and points of view. A Blog, delivers only opinions on events/places/things/subjects. Also, I would comment on your article, thank you for the article etc, but you have "no-follow" on all your commenting. That means I would not waste my time on your site anymore. It's an insult to me, if I am making a comment and you are putting up a big fat "nofollow" sign telling google to not come to my site. I never put no-follow, on my sites. The only time this is acceptable, is when you have wayyyy too many comments, or are constantly attacked by spammers (in which case get CAPTCHA!!!)
@kittyluver - thank you so much for bookmarking my blog, I can provide you with information that is useful for you in the future @tarkan - I am extremely sorry, please do apologize because only now did I learn that Wordpress has made no-follow by default! Apparently it's a new feature in 2.7, as you can read here. I didn't know this till now, and I would never make any of my blogs nofollow unless a specific reason like you have stated above. I'll look into this and change it as soon as possible, probably later tonight. Given it's Christmas we are all over the place, readying ourselves for a small family get together. I just wanted to say sorry, and to know that I've insulted you on on any day, let alone on Christmas isn't acceptable. Thank You M3rC
Ok thank you... I understand it isn't your fault. I assumed it was "automatic" but I thought it had always been that way.
Not that I know of Many of my previous blogs came with do-follow on the comment..unless it was made that way by the theme.. I'm installing the do-follow plugin as we speak.. I've figured it's something that can't afford to wait any longer and should be addresses straight away Regards M3rC
