7 Month Myspace Layouts Site - $929/month!

I've had this site for nearly a year, well the domain anyway. I've worked on it for nearly a year, it's a little over 7 month old, but 7 months was when I started to monetize it. I honestly hate to let it go because it's doing so well for me, and I know I can grow it even more if I just had more time but that's just the problem - time. I'm off to college in less than 2 months, and I'm really not going to have time for the website at all, that's why I'm selling her.

The website is solid, SEO optimized (to my best, and you can do better), and has a trusted domain and is trusted in the Google Sandbox (I can tell because everytime I gain better links, I uprank so easily). The website gets alot of Search Engine traffic, the ratio is about 60 to 40 versus partner sites. Alot of my partner sites are high ranking sites in pages 1-4 of the SERPS.

*sigh*. If you have any questions at all, please ask. I mean, the stats and the revenue screenshots pretty much sell itself.

I made $929 last month, and I work on it literally about 1-2 times a week, each being about 1 hour or less. That shows how established it is. Currently, there is no CMS of any sort because my last server had PHP compilation proplems and mySQL errors so my scripts weren't working. With the sale I can build a simple admin page that'll allow you to add new layouts and recreate the sitemap simply.

Which reminds me, I do have valid sitemap at Google, and the website gets crawled about every 3-4 days so it's pretty crawl-heavy. This means the website should be updated every time the spider comes around. I posted the top keyword queries that Google tells me I have in their webmaster tools.

Last words. I'd really love to see this site go into the hands of somebody who gives a hoot. Somebody who will actually work on the site, optimize it even more, run a solid link building campaign and get the site in better rankings. I'd prefer not to sell it to anybody who merely wants the site because it's established and thinks "well, I'm just going to sit here and watch it make money for me", because it won't for long, and I just wouldn't like my hardwork gone to someone like that.

Any adsense channels for the site? Tough to know if the adsense is coming from just the one site, or many sites. If you don't have channels set up, you might want to do that for the next couple of days.

Any stats that show the referrers such as awstats, google analytics or the like? Didn't really see anything like that in your referrer stats as one page was a 404, while the other was very general and didn't ahve any specific referrer stats.

 

Could you setup some live traffic tracker to see how the traffic is behaving?

I don't spend anything at all. Just hosting (on my own server) and domain name I guess, lol.

Purelayouts was like my first link partner.

Be nice to see actual referrers also. Analytics is just a general overview. I prefer to see exactly which search engines and what phrases bring traffic. PM them to me if you don't want ther general public to see.
